THE STORY

For over 20 plus years, I have carried the weight of one traumatic event that forever altered the course of my life: rape. If there is anything that will change a man, it is rape. It’s not something that gets spoken about often — not in society, and certainly not in church circles. But it happens to men, too. And when it does, it shatters more than just the moment — it fractures identity, trust, and the sense of safety that many take for granted.
The aftermath became the battlefield of my mind and life. Over two decades ago, I accepted Jesus into my heart. I wish I could say that single moment erased the trauma, but it didn’t. What it did do, however, was give me an anchor. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18).
Through it all, I am still standing. Still learning what it means to live with both brokenness and faith side by side. And I trust that “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus”(Philippians 1:6).
It was out of this pain and this journey that Stayhungry4Him was birthed. Because everyone has a story. Everyone carries wounds, whether seen or unseen. And everyone is in need of a Savior and a community that truly cares. This nonprofit is more than a name — it’s a calling. A place where people can be reminded that hunger for God is the pathway to healing, restoration, and hope.
Now, God is leading me into a new chapter of healing and equipping. I am currently enrolled in the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry — a place where I can grow deeper in God’s presence, be further restored, and be trained to pour into others out of both faith and experience. This is not just about me; it’s about being prepared to carry hope and healing to others who feel unseen, unheard, and forgotten.
If my story has spoken to you, I want to invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with me in this next phase. Your support doesn’t just help me offset the cost of school — it helps sow into the lives that will be touched through this journey. Together, we can turn pain into purpose and trauma into testimony.
